Gold Performance prides itself on it’s Elite Hockey Program. Jackie has played hockey at the highest level having received a Division 1 Ice Hockey Scholarship to Mercyhurst University. She is also a 2X World Champion and has played for Team Canada Inline in 11 World Championships. She has received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport’s Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science. She does not only have the education background but from her own personal playing experience as an athlete, knows what it takes to get to the next level.

It is important when training that you learn the PROPER and most efficient movement techniques from qualified Strength and Conditioning Coaches. We work with hockey players of all ages and sports levels as young as 10 years old. Strength and Conditioning programs are developed based on athletes age, sport, training level and strengths and weaknesses.  Regardless of the athlete’s sport and age, we are always looking at building complete athletes through proper warm-ups, training programs, cool downs and recovery.

The Elite Hockey Program not only addresses specific athletic needs with each athlete but also prepares and trains athletes for the physical demands of hockey. It is important for each athlete to have a plan in place as fitness expectations at the highest level of hockey (Junior, OHL, NHL) are very high. Building an athletic foundation at a young age is very beneficial since a “Base” is formed and more challenging training can be introduced in the teenage years.
